Listings that include "Approx." in the description indicate that the stated measurements are estimated. Because diamonds and other gemstones cannot be accurately measured for depth without being removed from their setting, a process that risks damage, we use specialized tools to determine an approximate stone weight.

Please note that sizes may vary by up to +/- 0.5 carats on any listing marked "Approx."

For stones that have been individually weighed or accompanied by a gemological certification, the verified weight will be clearly noted in the listing.
